Meet Our Newest Family Member!

Earlier this month Stephen and I had a conversation about getting a puppy. It has been over a year of me begging and hoping and praying that we’d be able to bring a little pup into our home. And so finally after a lengthy discussion and little holding us back, Stephen and I began the hunt.

I was scrolling through breeders and stumbled upon a photo of a cute little cockapoo. I sent the photo to Stephen and he agreed that this puppy was worth meeting. So I quickly contacted the breeder and shared our interest in their puppy. They were ready for us to meet him but unfortunately it was already too late in the day for us to drive out. So I told her that if we were able to meet him Monday that would be wonderful, but if she decides to sell him before then we totally understand. She said she’d stay in touch and let us know if he was still available later in the weekend. So the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday I waited in anxious anticipation for her call.

Early Monday morning, Christine called me and excitingly enough the little pup was still available for us to meet! I finished work and then picked up Stephen so we could drive up to Pennsylvania to meet him. When we get there she brings out both the little pup and his brother. Now knowing me, I am OBSESSED with puppies, so I was both in heaven and hell at that moment. Heaven, because the more puppies the better and hell, because I didn’t want to have to choose.

After an hour and a half of chatting and playing and chatting and playing, Stephen and I left having made a decision.

So with further out ado we’d like to introduce you to our newest member - Lando.
