I’ve realized that there are a lot of movies that are not only my favorites, but can be broken down by being my top movie of the year for the year it was released. I thought it’d be interesting to break down my top movies by year going as far back as I can remember (for favorite movies of course).
Snuggle up with some hot chocolate and your favorite blanket and enjoy these holiday favorites!
Here’s an update on my 101 in 1001 days. Looking forward to seeing how much I can accomplish between now and April 2022
Growing up one of the things my dad and I did (and still do when I’m in town) is go to the movies. And by far my favorite genre to watch would be action films. So because yesterday was Father’s Day I figured I’d share some of my favorite action movies:
We all have that list, the list of movies (or books, or both) that if we were on a deserted island, we’d bring those with us. So I’ve decided to share my list with you, in no particular order:
On April 3, 2016 Stephen and I got married and it was awesome. Every year we look back at our wedding highlight video and it’s probably one of my favorite pieces from the day (other than getting married of course) so we decided to share it with all of you!
So I’ve been home for the past 10 days, isolating myself from the rest of the world, with the rest of the world. It’s been such a weird week. Stephen’s been home from work to make sure that I’m not gonna get sick from his interactions with this co-workers because of my compromised immune system. So we’ve had an unexpected “stay-cation” for the past week. It’s been a mix of so many emotions and feelings, but overall trying to stay positive while we continue to figure out how to navigate our new normal. Everyone around us is going through something similar, so we’re not alone in this feeling of uncertainty.
During this time though, I’ve been watching a lot of random movies because we’ve been having movie nights almost every night this week. And while watching these movies, I’ve realized that I have a top 10 list of movies that are my favorites (yeah we all do) but the thing is, this list is subconscious. It isn’t until I'm watching a movie from that list that I realize, if I had to watch only a handful of movies forever, this would be on the list.
Yesterday I wrote up a list of some of my subconscious favorite movies. And then I started writing up a whole bunch of other lists relating to my other favorite movies. Point is, I love movies and I love lists, so I’ve decided I’m going to so a series where every Monday I’m going to share more lists of my favorite movies. Let’s start from the beginning with movies that I think are so good that I’ll be sharing with my children and my children’s children and so on. They’re that good:
