2020 Quarantine: Day 10

So I’ve been home for the past 10 days, isolating myself from the rest of the world, with the rest of the world. It’s been such a weird week. Stephen’s been home from work to make sure that I’m not gonna get sick from his interactions with this co-workers because of my compromised immune system. So we’ve had an unexpected “stay-cation” for the past week. It’s been a mix of so many emotions and feelings, but overall trying to stay positive while we continue to figure out how to navigate our new normal. Everyone around us is going through something similar, so we’re not alone in this feeling of uncertainty.

During this time though, I’ve been watching a lot of random movies because we’ve been having movie nights almost every night this week. And while watching these movies, I’ve realized that I have a top 10 list of movies that are my favorites (yeah we all do) but the thing is, this list is subconscious. It isn’t until I'm watching a movie from that list that I realize, if I had to watch only a handful of movies forever, this would be on the list.

Summer 2019

I love summer. I love the freedom it brings to our schedule, I love that we want to be outside more, I love the weather (most of the time) and I love the longer days. For me summer is more of a new start than January 1st. So every summer I like to create a bucket list of things I’d like to do between now until Labor Day (the unofficial end of summer.) Meet Our Newest Family Member!

Michael's Engaged!

I’m ecstatic! My little brother is going to get married!

And he proposed in the sweetest way possible. He took her to one of her favorite architect’s (Frank Lloyd Wright) home and scheduled a tour for them to go on, but once they got there he took her to the front of the house, handed her a note, and got down on one knee. Thankfully he also had a photographer there to take photos of them! Just look at how cute they are!
